Market research firm Ambient Insight reports that over the past five years the U.S. market for pre-K through 12 self-paced e-learning products and services has increased by 16.8 percent. In 2010, the e-learning industry (healthcare, higher ed, pre K-12, nonprofits and government) totaled $18.2 billion. By 2015, this should reach $24.2 billion.
