By using the y axis for two different purposes ($ and # deals) this graph seems to be saying that $500M is in some way parallel to, or equivalent to, 100 deals and that $100M is related to 20 deals. Is that a standard metric or proven relationship? That being said, all this graph shows, albeit misleadingly, is that the number of deals for the most part follows the dollars (or vice versa).

  2. I would like to see this statistic broken down between “content delivery” and “content creation.” I think most of the investments have not been in digital learning content, but rather in learning management systems and social networks. It’s a misleading statistic.
