Students can make their own personal notes to slides and the whole class and teachers can discuss the presentation topic in a real-time chat. When the presenter changes the slide, it automatically changes on everyone’s device instantly. “It’s a valuable tool to make students more engaged in class and to be able to discuss the topics further after the class is over,” says Cathrine. “It’s also great for long-distance presentations — students who are ill will be able to view the presentation synced to their own device at home.” They introduced a synced presentation mode inside CanvasDropr but a lot of users and customers requested it as a separate product, and that’s how Presentation.io came along, explains Cathrine Andersen, 25, a co-founder with Christian Rasmussen, 28.
